What is stressed toons?

The town of stressed toons plays on the idea that we are all souls playing human characters in this show called Life. At times, we may be in the middle of events that cause for celebration and appreciation but, may not have the "right" words to express ourselves or need tools to help us navigate challenging times and experiences. With this in mind, I have created several spaces within this digital community to help enlighten those visiting, ranging from our Webseum full of art to our Web Abbey filled with prayers and reflective tools. The overall goal of this town is to provide a safe space so that visitors can explore free of judgment and enjoy the journey.

My Inspiration

As a kid, I always relied on the arts and music to help me move forward when times were hard or incomprehensible. Now, as an adult, I've taken those tools I learned from the past and combined them with those gained in the present to gain a greater appreciation for those around me and the situations I have been in. Through my artwork and meditation, I have reconnected with myself and come to a better understanding of community and our roles. Through reflection in art, I have found my way home.
